About

Universal Christ Consciousness (UCC) Yoga Association

Our association represents a universal yoga philosophy that unites the essential elements of all religions. This approach is Universal Christ Consciousness, which aims to provide a theoretical and practical philosophy of life for the modern man. In this approach the emphasis is not on belief but on experience, understanding and incorporation. The spiritual path we walk and demonstrate is independent from religions, but accept and embraces the ideals of the main religions.

We want to bring this approach to a wider audience through informative lectures, books, publications, training, meditation and spiritual practices. Our long-term goal is to establish a yoga center where we can offer meditation and yoga classes.

The theory and practice of yoga philosophy is based on the writings of Margaret Rhasoda Varga and the curriculum she has compiled, and on their further development.

These teaching materials are:

- "IQ-EQ-SQ" spiritual self-knowledge training (UCC yoga-basic)

- "Tat-Tvam-Asi" Yoga School-1 (UCC Yoga Intermediate)

- "Tat-Tvam-Asi" Yoga School-2 (UCC Yoga Advanced)

People have developed many religions and philosophies in an attempt to get in touch with the transcendent. Some of these religions and philosophies are better and other less successful. In this sense, we cannot say that all religions speak of the same God. Each religion presents different aspects or faces of God, sometimes presenting this aspect as exclusive. Nevertheless, the same God is behind all religions, even if people do not realize it.
True religion is therefore rooted in the Over-self (Atman) found in the heart and not in human inventions of transcendence. Therefore, the man who is truly seeking God will be guided by the Over-self (his/her own innermost, purest feelings) and find the worldview t ...
