I would like to express my deepest appreciation and thanks to all the yogis who have taken it upon themselves to make this valuable resource available in other languages.

The translation of this scripture is a great challenge, which will lead us on an adventure to an even deeper understanding. The translation of this scripture is a great challenge, leading us in an adventure that will give us an even deeper understanding. The commentaries of the sutras are intended to help the reader to incorporate them. I may be one of the few women who has attempted to perform this task, and I feel it is an outstanding grace. My interpretations may not always be traditional, but if everyone followed the traditional path, there would never be progress or deeper understanding.

Mahavatar Babaji is the highest paramguru (guru of the gurus) of our time and is also the supreme guru of the UKTE yoga system. His Yoga sutras are teachings transferred to the author in a meditative state, in English.
The explanations are the comments of the author.

I consider it extremely important to translate and interpret the sutras as accurately as possible, because any mistakes become burn in the subconscious of the students and hinder their progress. The sutras, in the original language, are crystal clear, the vague translations into other languages imply imperfect understanding or indicate the imperfect possession of the given language.
