There was a reputation about a yogi who,
if he blessed people in queue,
their wishes would come true.
As the holiday approached, a murderer, a politician,
and a man seeking salvation
sought him out to receive his benediction.
The murderer begged pale:
"I live like a hunted animal, with the police on my trail;
I’m afraid to even close my eyes to sleep.
I hide and flee like a wretched worm in deep.
I ask for a roof over my head
and a few slices of dry bread,
a little quiet and peace,
I pray you for help, please!”
The yogi blessed him: “May peace be with you!
Your greatest desire will soon come true!”
The politician complained:
“A few hours of sleeping date,
rushing from one meeting to the next debate.
I pressed with the worries and troubles of my nation -
can I never be free of this situation?
The host of my enemies and my followers,
This money-hungry pack, all of them borrowers;
They unite against me, want to be the owners.
I would lighten the burden with my quit,
If it's possible, please, help me a bit!”
The yogi blessed him: “May peace be with you!
Your greatest desire will soon come true!”
The seeker of salvation by kneeling down told:
“I have been walking this path for a long,
I have managed to avoid every wrong.
The burden of life is heavy for me by now,
I would gladly put it down, if I know how.
Please, sir, if it’s within your mastery,
Let me partake in this mystery.
The yogi blessed him: “May peace be with you!
Your greatest desire will soon come true!”
As soon as three days lasted
all three wishes were granted.
The murderer was captured by the police,
In prison, he found tranquility and peace,
He has got shelter and some bread's piece.
The politician was removed from his setting,
His burdens were replaced by forgetting.
The one seeking salvation passed away,
and entered the Heaven on the next day.
Peace be with you every single blessed day!
