Masters

On the picture below a banyan tree can be seen. The tree grows aerial roots, which grow into another tree when they reach the ground. In time, a single tree will form a whole forest. While the original trunk has long since died out, the younger trunks continue to expand. UCCM is like a banyan tree. We have started it and we let it grow.

The viewpoint of the Movement's founder meets in some points with the standpoint of J. Krisnamurti, quoted below. The Movement was not created to found and advocate a new religion, philosophy, organization, etc., but to show the inner path to the Absolute Truth (God), which is a unique path for each person, through the example of one's own life. Our movement is therefore only a framework that provides an opportunity for every human being to know his/her own inner divinity, regardless of religions, philosophies, systems and organizations.

“I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect… A belief is purely an individual matter, and you cannot and must not organize it. If you do, it becomes dead, crystallized; it becomes a creed, a sect, a religion, to be imposed on others… The moment you follow someone you cease to follow Truth. I am concerning myself with only one essential thing: to set man free. I desire to free him from all cages, from all fears, and not to found religions, new sects, nor to establish new theories and new philosophies…My only concern is to set man absolutely, unconditionally free.”

The leaders and members of the movement (UCCM) and an association (UCCA) are distinguished by their level of inner development, the tasks they undertake and the responsibilities they have. Members are initiated into the different mastery roles through an initiation which is given, in the presence of smaller and larger groups of the community, by Margaret Rhasoda Varga who is the founder, guru and leading master of UCCM.

The guru is distinguished from the masters by her inner level of realization, her relationship with the masters of the spiritual world, and her worldly and spiritual knowledge. She has been assigned this role by Sri Yukteswar Giri, who is the guru of this yoga system in the spiritual world. Her duties and responsibilities include the development of the yoga system of the UCC Association, continuously improving the curriculum, aligning it with the teachings of the spiritual masters, creating spiritual education books and materials, training community leaders and giving initiations. She is responsible for setting the spiritual direction of the UCCM, and for clearing the path of views and beliefs that do not belong to it.

The lead-master is responsible for building and developing the community and organizing the life of the community, and thus his/her activities cover all areas. He/she gives direction to the community, both in spiritual development and in living everyday life situations. He/she is involved in running courses for the community, in restoring the health of those who come to him/her, and in constantly developing his/her own consciousness. Thus he/she is a teacher-healer as well as an inner-master. This makes him/her possible to carry out his/her the lead-master role.

Teacher-masters, healer-masters and teacher-healer-masters have undertaken to perform these activities as their service. Their activities are also empowered by the initiation received within the community. Most of them also have a higher or intermediate secular or other systemic qualification to carry out some form of this activity.

The inner-master focuses on raising his/her own inner awareness, but also takes part in the development of others in this direction. This also involves the development and embracing of spiritual skills, which are used for community purposes.

FAQ
What is the function of the ego?
Primarily, it is to enable souls who wish to separate from God to have an independent experience of God. In fact, everyone is always in God, but since the layers of ego separates one from God, one can think he/she is an independent being, he/she can do what he/she wants, God does not really exist, and he/she can invent for himself/herself various "meaningful" activities to spend his/her time on. All this together means that the soul in the state of separated from God is under an illusion when he/she thinks of himself/herself as independent of God. ...

"The sage has no need to make or take, just to be for man's awake. To give to people everything, to leave to heaven the rest of thing."
