Remembering a Christmas from long ago, I was six years old and we were waiting for Jesus who, according to our faith, as Santa Claus brigs present for children. But Jesus didn't bring me the gift I had secretly asked for and had longed for. I asked my mother that maybe Jesus didn't know what he was supposed to bring? Did he not hear my request or maybe I wasn't good enough? My mother could have answered with many gracious lies if I hadn't got on her nerves, but I kept questioning her until she relentlessly declared, 'There is no Jesus, we give the gift and that's it.'
My mother offered no alternative, reassuring or higher truth, she merely shattered my previously constructed worldview. The worldview had collapsed because after this there was no one to wait for, nothing to hope for, no hope that someone might listen me. Long decades passed, and this memory also helped me to become a seeker of truth, not content with religious children's stories. I now know that there is someone to wait for, someone to trust. But people need stories. They cling to fairy tales to keep their faith in transcendence, but these tales become dogma over time and no longer serve deeper understanding.
Some are destined to grow up and some are destined to remain children. Recently, I was the one who did the same to one of my disciples, that I shattered her worldview. I am sorry. I ask you all not to come to me if you find illusions sweeter than the truth. I am not here on Earth to help people fall into a deeper sleep than ever before, but to wake them up.
The Universal Christ Consciousness Movement represents all of Jesus' teachings, including his non-public, esoteric teachings. So, for those who longs fairy tales, don't blame me because their truth doesn't fit with mine. For some people, only as much thing applies from Jesus' teaching: 'be like children', and for others, the time has come to enter the process of becoming a god-man.
"A new command I give you: Love one another! As I have loved you, so you must love one another! By this all man will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34-35, NIV)
